The representatives of Area SpA, a company from Varese and leader in the field of cyber intelligence, moved to the Veneto region. Destination Ca’ Foscari University of Venice to support the CyberchallengeIT project, the most important Italian initiative to identify, attract, recruit and place the next generation of cyber security professionals.
The project is supportd by the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the Council and is recognized by the Ministry of Education as a project for the enhancement of excellence that, thanks to over 5,000 students enrolled and 35 locations, including 32 universities, will promote training in cybersecurity for young people between 16 and 24 years old who have been admitted to the advanced training school for ethical hackers.
The prestigious Veneto University is one of the venues that has accepted the candidacy of Area S.p.A. specialists to give a lecture to the young excellences of cybersecurity. The speaker was Eng. Matteo Bozzolan, Project Manager of the R&D department, who highlighted the technological synergies between the world of systems supporting investigative activities and the world of cybersecurity.
Area SpA, since its foundation by Andrea Formenti, has always had in its DNA the training and support to young excellences, today it has about 150 employees, continuously growing, of which 25% is composed by IT professionals dedicated to the Research and Development department, constantly committed to the inclusion of younger generations.
Thanks to the availability of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Statistics of the University Ca ‘Foscari, an industry with high technological content has met the interest of students, stimulating a debate that has provided insights of great interest to those present.
The Managing Director of the company Ing. Alessandro Mistò has immediately welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with a project like CyberchallengeIT and hopes to deepen the collaboration with the University of Veneto in order to promote the synergy between the industry focused on supporting the Authorities and the highly specialized training courses.
The next stop will be on May 5 at the University of Cagliari, followed by Bologna, Bari, Catania and Naples.
